This campground's opening date has been postponed to due to weather and road closures. Horseshoe pits and a grassy baseball field are located on-site. Picnic tables and campfire rings are provided, as are vault toilets. This large campground offers three group sites and several single and double-family sites, most of which are accessible. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing and exploring local trails. Riverside Country Club prides itself in its family-friendly environment complete with activities for the golfer and non-golfer alike.Granite Flat Campground is located a short distance up scenic American Fork Canyon, less than a mile from Tibble Fork Reservoir. Our 12,000 square foot Pro Shop was voted as Country Club Retailer-of-the-Year in its first year of operations! Our swimming pool complex includes a 25-meter lap pool, 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, a kiddie pool and splash pad. The clubhouse boasts 42,000 square feet of ample dining facilities, wedding reception areas, private banquet and meeting rooms, built-in AV, tennis courts, a fitness facility complete with a massage treatment room, movement studio for fitness classes, Pilates reformer studio, cardio and weight training, and exquisite locker rooms. Construction commenced in 2010 and all of our stunning new facilities opened by summer 2012. In 2008, the members of the club voted to build a new clubhouse, pro shop and pool complex. In June of 1962, the long-anticipated grown-in of the golf course was ready for play and a great Utah County tradition began! A grand opening for the clubhouse was held on with the swimming pool opening on July 15th of the same year. ![]() The official name of Riverside Country Club was adopted in 1959 and the club became a reality in 1960 with 34 Equity Members and 16 Social Members. Several different parcels of land were considered but ultimately, for an average price of $900 per acre, the pristine setting of the Provo River-bottoms was chosen. ![]() In the late 1950’s a few members of this club started floating around the idea of building a country club. Our stunning, full service Pro Shop was voted Country Club Retailer-of-the-Year in its first year of operations!ĭuring the 1950’s a group of local businessmen met under the name of The Radar Club in Springville, Utah.
